With higher temperatures and more corrosive contaminants in process exhaust gases, fiberglass duct using premium grade fire retardant corrosion-resistant vinyl ester resins is the most cost-effective choice.

Fibrex manufactures round duct from 4 to 144 inches in diameter, having a Class I fire rating with a flame spread less than 25. The exterior of duct installed indoors can be coated with an intumescent paint having a smoke-developed rating less than 50.
